Mortgage Automator Launches Draw Management to Keep Construction Budgets Inside the Active Loan File

TORONTO — August 10, 2026 — Mortgage Automator today announced the launch of Draw Management, a new feature built to bring construction budgets, draw schedules, and approvals directly into the active loan file.

For many private lenders, tracking construction loans means juggling spreadsheets or running a separate software tool alongside their loan system. Draw Management replaces that back-and-forth by keeping every part of the draw workflow under one login.

With Draw Management, lenders build their budget once directly in Mortgage Automator—setting categories, line items, and budgeted amounts. From there, teams can manage planned or ad-hoc draw requests with automated variance flagging and configurable loan-to-cost (LTC) limits.

The launch also introduces Project Health, an automated scoring feature that compares work completed against funds disbursed for every active loan. This gives lenders real-time visibility into budget drift so they can address issues early.

"As we work with more construction and fix-and-flip lenders, the feedback has been clear: managing a loan in one place and the budget in another creates friction teams just don't need," said Jason Alexander, CEO of Mortgage Automator. "Draw Management brings those pieces together right where the loan already lives."

Draw Management is available today and included in Mortgage Automator’s Origination Pro+, Servicing Pro+, and Fund Pro+ packages. Lenders interested in seeing how it works can learn more about it here or request a walkthrough here.
