Data and Document Solution Specialist

Job Summary:

We’re seeking a detail-oriented problem-solver with a passion for using technology to streamline client experiences. As a Data and Document Solution Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in our mission to optimize efficiency in our clients’ business operations.  Your expertise in front-end development (HTML, CSS) will allow you to create visually appealing and functional documents that seamlessly integrate with client data within our platform. 

Required Education and Experience:

  • Advanced proficiency and experience in HTML and inline CSS.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Basic understanding of data structures and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and innovative solution-provider.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate design concepts into functional code.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets – VLookup, SUMIFS, etc.
  • Problem-solving and debugging mindset.
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Comfortable explaining data to non-technical users.
  • Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Beneficial Skills

  • Experience with JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with document templating engines.
  • Understanding of back-end concepts, databases, and data tools.
  • Experience in the SaaS, fintech, or mortgage industry.
  • Experience in a client-facing role, with strong communication skills.
  • A background in Accounting or Bookkeeping is an asset.

Essential Functions:

  • Design and develop user-friendly document templates primarily using HTML and CSS.
  • Build a library of reusable document components and templates, promoting efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve document formatting, display, and data-related issues.
  • Participate in client-facing onboarding and training sessions around document customization and Data Migration processes.
  • Assist with resolving client inquiries through ticketing systems.
  • Provide technical support throughout the data migration process to ensure efficiency and smooth execution.
  • Prepare an inventory of data for migration, determining the necessary time and effort for completion.
  • Establish testing procedures to ensure migrated data accuracy and consistency with client specifications.
